I purchased this item for my five year old daughter and she definitely adores it! The enjoyable issue is excellent and our total family members has enjoyed singing songs with each other. The additional voices are also really fun because they permit my tiny girl to sing the boy components of the songs. This toy is a blast and easy to use, even though I am not content about the placement of the buttons on the narrow component of the barrel, where you grip the microphone. My kids really like hearing their voices coming out of the Television, and they specifically enjoy modifying their voices [bird, mouse, horse, dragon] Mommy’s command overall performance is for “Be Our Guest” in full French accent! One plus that had not occurred to me when I purchased it is that my beginning reader can boost his word recognition and fluency watching the words in the lyrics light up on screen. Even so, I was hoping that for $ we could get a tiny a lot more mileage out of this toy- like the additional song cartridges described in the product description?! Guess what? TRU doesn’t have them, Circuit City doesn’t have them, I even checked Disney Electronics on the internet… beautiful description of them there. There are 3, each with only ten songs, compared to the 25 included when you acquire the microphone. Of those ten songs, several are copies of those authentic 25! NO THANKS! I feel a small ripped off, since being able to broaden the song library in the long term produced the value a tiny simpler to swallow. At any rate, the kids do not care.
